Bridge the gap between product, marketing and sales. As Product Marketing Manager, you make product changes clear to customers and ensure that teams bring them to the market.

Job description

A product change is only ready when customers understand how it benefits them and all teams are telling the same story. As Product Marketing Manager at o2o Bicycle Leasing, you’ll bridge the gap between product, marketing and sales. You’ll clearly communicate new developments to the market and ensure that customer feedback is passed on to the teams responsible for further developing our offering.

Who is o2o Bicycle Leasing?

We are a vibrant scale-up that makes bike leasing easy and accessible for organizations and employees. Our mission? More people on bikes - because it's just better for themselves and the planet. And secretly also to outsmart the traffic jams.

We do this with a team of engaged colleagues, in a culture that focuses on trust, autonomy, and a good dose of enthusiasm. And sometimes a bit of craziness. (Want to know more about us? Find it here.)

99% of the time we are professional. Really.

What you do as Product Marketing Manager

  • You co-ordinate product launches from decision to market. You align communications and prepare sales, onboarding and support. Take our own online shop, which we launched last year: how do we convey that story to customers, and how do we ensure that all resources (from the website and help centre to sales materials) are on board and mention the online shop?

  • You make the product story clear for every target audience. You translate technical and financial specifications into concrete purchasing criteria.

  • You create sales materials that colleagues actually use: pitches, one-pagers, comparisons and responses to objections. Stuff that ends up in a folder in a cupboard? Not on your watch.

  • You keep product information up to date and consistent, from the website to the help centre. You also establish who identifies, implements and checks changes.

  • You bring customer and market insights together. You analyse, amongst other things, feature usage, lost deals and competitors, and feed your insights back to management.

  • You’ll work with the marketing team on stories and campaigns. You’ll also involve legal, data, finance, procurement and operations at the right time.

  • You’ll be part of the commercial team and report directly to Caroline, our CCO.

What we’re looking for in you

We don’t believe in pigeonholing people, but there are a few things we do consider important.

  • You have at least 5 years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in product marketing, product management or a commercial role with a strong product focus.

  • You understand positioning and messaging in a B2B environment and can translate complex product information into a clear narrative for different target audiences.

  • You write fluently and meticulously. You make complex information easy to understand and take pride in keeping documentation accurate and up to date.

  • You understand how pricing structures, margins and financial decisions influence a product. Experience with lease calculations, residual value, taxation or service costs will be an asset.

  • You think beyond your own remit, bring structure to the process and maintain an overview of the implications of a product change.

  • You get people on board without resorting to top-down management (tip: cake and Aperol). You communicate fluently in English and Dutch.

We have been looking for a new colleague for a while. We didn't find them in this pit though.

Why work at o2o?

At o2o, we encourage you to bring out the best in yourself. Your personal and professional development, as well as your well-being, are top priorities. We believe that a healthy work-life balance only enhances your productivity, so we are flexible. You'll have the opportunity to alternate between office days and remote work, and we encourage you to disconnect enough.

What our employees appreciate the most?

  • A meaningful job.

  • Flexibility in workplace and working hours.

  • A team you want to be part of (and stay).

  • Trust as a foundation, not as a reward.

  • Unlimited paid time off - no, that's not a typo.

  • An attractive salary and a solid bike leasing budget.

  • Sporty and less sporty activities (read: aperitifs) that you don't have to attend, but often want to.
